Cancellation

• After making a reservation, you have a 14-day ‘cooling-off period’.
• The cooling-off period does not apply if the rental is concluded directly at the counter.
• The cooling-off period also does not apply if the rental has already started with your permission.
• If the rental has already been partially used, you only pay for the period in which the bicycle was used.
• If you return the bicycle earlier than agreed, you are not entitled to a refund.

Payment & Deposit

If the rental starts within 3 months, we may request a down payment of up to a maximum of 50% of the rental amount.

• A deposit may be requested when picking up the bicycle.
• The deposit will be refunded after the bicycle is returned. Any costs, such as damage or extra rental days, will be deducted from this.
• The deposit will be refunded no later than 2 months after return.
• Damage caused by third parties will be recovered as soon as possible. You will always be informed about this. Invoices
• The rental fee is paid at the end of the rental period, unless other arrangements have been made.
• Other costs must be paid within 10 days of receipt of the invoice.
• In the event of late payment, statutory interest and collection costs may be charged.

Use of the bicycle

Where may you cycle

The bicycle may only be used on roads and paths designated for this purpose.

• It is not permitted to ride the bicycle on the beach.

Returning the bicycle

The bicycle must be returned to the same branch where it was rented, unless agreed otherwise in advance.

Safe use

It is not permitted to carry passengers on the back of the bicycle.

• Only the use of a child seat is permitted.

Modifications & repairs

It is not permitted to make changes to the bicycle yourself.

• Attaching your own bicycle trailer is not permitted.
• If you require modifications, we are happy to assist you. • Repairs may not be carried out independently without the landlord’s permission.

Care for the bicycle

• You are required to handle the bicycle with care during the rental period.
  • The bicycle must always be locked when not in use.
  • In the event of a lost bicycle key, a charge of €12.50 will be applied for making a new key.
  • Electric bicycles must be charged according to the instructions.
